This course is designed to raise licensees awareness of safety issues associated with radon. Including but not limited to safety in the field, office, transportation and documentation.

A colorful look at the physics of radon, the health effects and radon entry and decay with an emphasis on air exchange in homes and answering unusual consumer questions.

This course provides a basic understanding of passive and skeletal mitigation systems in new construction. It includes relevant information showing proper installation techniques.

Course is designed to raise measurement licensees’ awareness and ability to recognize a proper radon reduction system; and the procedure for dealing with improper systems.  Reinforce proper installation procedure to mitigation licensees.
